My name is Tanya and I, probably like you, really really love food (and, probably unlike you, eat A LOT of it. A lot.).
I started writing this blog because I was one of those annoying people on Facebook who would cook, picture and post their way to developing a complex love-hate-love reaction in their friends minds, to the point that they would encourage me to start a blog, hoping that that their news feed would no longer be flooded by pictures of food that was not on their plate (now their news feed is spammed with links to posts on this blog instead, evil haha).
I also started writing this blog because I finally decided, after years of being on the fence, that I will not be going to culinary school, and that I am happier loving and learning about food as an amateur (a clumsy but eager amateur!). Having a food blog is thus a way to keep focus on this passion of mine, while also having a life beyond it.
So there you have it.
The mandatory food blog word on the pictures: All pictures used in this blog, including those in the header are shot by me (unless otherwise specified), using a Sony DSC H5 (I will one day learn how to take better pictures, and upgrade to a camera that affords me more control, but in the meanwhile, I am not completely unhappy about the pictures on this blog).
